Welcome To Paril's
Projects' new site, where I, Paril, the webmaster here, hosts my mods and helps fellows who want aid with Quake 2 programming and general C questions.
Site updated regularily whenever I get time away from my mods. This is not a dead site or hosts dead projects, all projects are currently active. See the actual project pages, as I have notes and text that will tell you how far the mod is and if it's still alive.
If anyone needs help with programming in Quake 2 mods or engine, Quake 1, Quake 3, or even just a new C/C++ project you started, give me a shout on MSN or by email, I'll be sure to help you out. |

Brazen |
Brazen is a mod that is based on single player and cooperative play. Basically, using ent files, the Quake2 mission is set to more Brazen style gameplay. Weapons and ammo are scarce, and there's only one of the item you just picked up off the ground. Yep, no respawning. You've gotta share!
"Okay, so, there aren't many weapons.. I can't even live through base2!" Easy. Rip the weapons off of dead monsters! Yes, that's right, you can rip a monster's weapon off. They can't be reloaded, so use them wisely.
I've made many changes to the mod, including more realistic reload sounds and generic fixes here and there. Whenever it's ready I'll release it. |
